Wesley Loring is excited to enter his eighth year in the Jefferson-Morgan School District. Prior to becoming middle/high school principal, Mr. Loring served in various roles, including assistant principal and director of special education within the district.

As a district resident living on a fifth-generation family farm with his wife, Maddie, and daughters, Evee, Ellie, and Edee, Mr. Loring takes great pride in fostering the best learning experiences and opportunities for all Jefferson-Morgan students. A lifelong resident of Greene County and graduate of Mapletown Junior/Senior High School, he is committed to ensuring that students in a small-school setting are provided with the same large-school opportunities that prepare them for the real world, as well as college and/or career readiness after graduation.

One of Mr. Loring’s proudest accomplishments during his time at Jefferson-Morgan has been the development of a district-wide K–12 Autistic Support/Life Skills program, which provides students with functional and community-based learning opportunities and experiences.

Mr. Loring warmly invites all parents and community members to be active partners in supporting our schools. He believes it is essential that every student is encouraged and supported throughout their academic, athletic, and extracurricular journeys.
