Week of Sept. 9 - 13

Students will be introduced to their first short story, Raymond's Run.

Students will understand and comprehend the literary element of 'style' and how it applies to author's

Students will listen to, read, and possible reread the story for deeper knowledge. 

Students will write a short essay on a 'skill' that they have mastered to make them better in the area of

which it applies

Students will study and practice story vocabulary.
