Honors Geometry is designed to provide motivated students with the skills and conceptual understanding for high level mathematics. This course will include the study of: properties of angles, triangles, quadrilaterals, polygons, and circles; measurement formulas involving area, perimeter, volume, and surface area; right triangle trigonometry; the coordinate system, slope, parallel and perpendicular lines; logic and proofs; similarity and congruence; and probability.
Prerequisite: Student must have passed Algebra I with an 85% or higher and scored Proficient or Advanced on the Keystone Algebra I exam.
