3125      Honors Chemistry I  

Honors chemistry is an introductory course intended for students who are planning careers in science, medicine and engineering.  It involves an examination of the major concepts and theories on inorganic chemistry.  Emphasis is also placed on quantitative relationships and problem solving.  The laboratory portion of the course provides opportunities for students to develop and clarify concepts and relationships while developing skill and confidence in the execution of experiments and analysis of results.

Prerequisite: Completion of biology >85% average, Completion of Algebra II >85%
