Intro to Engineering is a one semester course designed for students considering careers in Engineering or Engineering Technology.  Course topics include history, methods, functions, disciplines, education, licensing and ethics of engineering.  Students learn ways in which fundamental engineering principles are used to solve theoretical and practical problems.  Projects provide opportunities for students to apply mathematics and science concepts and experience the engineering design process.
