Computers 8

Course Description

This course is designed to develop word processing skills, spreadsheets, presentation, desktop publishing and database skills by using the Microsoft Office Suite. Students in the course will be able to learn how to conduct effective internet searches using search engines. Using MS Word, they will be able to review word processing and expand knowledge of the application. They will also be learning how to use MS Excel to create spreadsheets, graphs and charts. Last, the students will learn to use MS PowerPoint including skills such as adding pictures, animated graphics, sound, movies, slide animation, slide transitions and more.
