Week of December 12-16, 2016

We are behind because of the internet being down and so many students being out Friday for sports, bell ringing and sickness.  We will be writing the "Who am I Really?" from last week.  

We will write a future prediction and a short paper on "World of Work", meaning our chores/job.  

Students will correct their grammar and be given their folders to take home over the break.  They will create their autobiographies over the break.

We will write a research paper on a North American Mammal.  

Week of December 5 - 9, 2016

Monday:  We will read No More Dead Dogs.  Then we will write a persuasive paper on this topic:  Some people display graphic/inappropriate pictures and language on their clothes or vehicles.  Other people get angry because their children are forced to look at the pictures or read the inappropriate words.  Do you think people should have the right to say/display whatever they want, even if it is "corrupting minors"?  Grammar free 150 words.

Tuesday:  Thoughts on Friendship.  Pick one of the topics and write 184 words, grammar counts.
