Spanish 1

This course will provide the student the opportunity to acquire and develop skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing the Spanish language.   Spanish 1 will emphasize vocabulary foundation and basic grammar with an introduction to the Spanish culture and various aspects of daily living.  Oral recitations, essays and projects will be required as they are assigned.  They will start short conversations using the target language.
