Weeks of Feb. 4 - 15   Students have been working in the Poetry Unit.  Students are learning the different types of poetry,  narrative, ballad, free verse, etc.  There will be quizzes and assignments that will be posted on the daily homework sheet. 

Students will review Rikki-tikki-tavi this short week.

Students will write and spell 50 common misspelled words for 7th grade.

Students will be assigned a vocabulary enriching activity.

Students will be discussing type of prose in form of a Folktale.

Students will read 3 versions of 'The Cinderella Story'  German, Chinese, and Poetic Form

Students will be able to analyze, compare, and contrast literary styles

Week of Sept 17 - 21

Quiz on Thursday - Amigo Brothers - know comprehension, vocabulary, and literary terms

Students will create and complete a Venn Diagram assignment, learning comparing and contrasting
